Sources and licences
tuinontwerp.app draws your garden on real data. This page says where that data comes from, what we draw with it, and on what terms we use it.
The sources
- 3DBAG

- Cadastral map (Kadaster, via PDOK)
- Your parcel boundary. This is the shape the app draws as your garden, and what every measurement on the plan rests on.About this dataset at PDOK (opens in a new tab)
- BAG (Kadaster, via PDOK)
- The outlines of nearby buildings, and the addresses you search. The app reads every registered building here, including the sheds and garages 3DBAG does not cover.About this dataset at PDOK (opens in a new tab)
- Aerial photography (Beeldmateriaal, via PDOK)

What we compute ourselves
The sun and shade map comes from none of these sources. We compute it from the position of the sun and the building heights above. The result is an upper bound: we model buildings and what you draw yourself, not every tree in the street.
